A well-educated, highly skilled workforce is the best way to strengthen our local economy and ensure a high quality of life in our region.
The ability of the construction industry to deliver quality construction at a fair cost is determined, in part, by the skills of the employees. The CAF recognizes that attracting quality employees into the construction industry helps local contractors deliver quality projects safely, on time, and under budget. In order to help attract quality men and women who are looking for opportunities to work in Northwest Indiana’s professional construction industry, the CAF has developed a construction career website called We Build Northwest Indiana.
The We Build Northwest Indiana website provides an in-depth look into the various careers that exist in the construction and contains valuable information on how to prepare and apply for a career within the industry. Some construction career may require a college degree while most require a comprehensive training and education program known as apprenticeship. We welcome you to explore the opportunities available in the construction industry by clicking on the logo below.
