HEXAVALENT CHROMIUM
TRAIN-THE-TRAINER PROGRAM
This program is designed to educate Supervisors, Safety Professionals, and Company Managers on:

What is Hevavalent Chromium
-
Where is Hexavalent Chromium found in construction;
-
How to Sample for Hexavalent Chromium;
-
The hazards of Hexavalent Chromium;
-
Engineering and work practice control Methods;
-
Respiratory protection options and methods;
-
Medical monitoring requirements; and
-
The contents of the Hexavalent Chromium Standard (29 CFR 1926.1126);
Upon completion of the training the supervisors and managers will be able to recognize and prevent hazards associated with chromium (VI) and will be able to train workers in the recognition of the hazards of chromium (VI) and hazard avoidance to prevent exposures, injuries and fatalities.
This education will be accomplished through the 8-hour Train the Trainer Program. This program will utilize the Train the Trainer Powerpoint Presentation and the accompanying training materials.
