CAF Scholarships for Tradespeople

The CAF Scholarship for Tradespeople is intended to support construction trade professionals who are looking to earn their bachelor’s degree in Project Leadership at Purdue University Northwest.  The CAF will distribute thousands of dollars of scholarship money every year to numerous construction trade workers.  Scholarship amounts will vary based on the number of annual applications.  The minimum amount awarded to scholarship winners will not be less than $1000.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Award recipient must be a U.S. citizen
  • Award recipient must be enrolled in the ‘Project Leadership’ bachelor’s degree program at Purdue University Northwest
  • Award recipient must be at least a 3rd year apprentice at time of application

Use of Funds

Scholarship funds are restricted to tuition and associated registration fees. Payments will be made directly to the Purdue upon receipt of an invoice for tuition.

Application Requirements

  • Completed application
  • Copy of latest transcripts from Ivy Tech Community College earned through a qualified apprenticeship program
  • Completed employment history form
  • Completed essay
  • Two letters of recommendation
